Iqaluk Kennels

  
  Welcome to the Iqaluk Kennels web page.  We started with our oldest dog Crystal then added Zorro and Anana. All four of us enjoy playing with these lovable animals. We started our kennel in 2006 in order to help my husband Tom feel more needed.  Tom had a terminal illness and was struggling with not going to work.  We decided that with a kennel, Tom could do as much as or as little as he felt up to doing, so we purchased Crystal. It was our family's dream to raise and breed malamutes. Unfortunately, in November of that year my husband Tom passed away. We decided to fulfill our dream for him. I want to thank you for helping us make our dream come true in memory of Tom.

What We Do

We raise the Alaskan Malamute. They are loving, intelligent,  beautiful animals. Once they accept you into their pack  they become very close. They are very friendly and love to run. Some of your options to do with them is showing them or racing with them. One difference between the malamute and the husky is that the purebred malamute doesn't have blue eyes.   To learn more specifics about the Alaskan Malamute, visit www.akc.org.
